At Your Doorsteps

Terms

Plain terms for a delivery service. By placing an order you agree to these.

What the service is

You tell us what you need. We buy it from shops near you and bring it to your door, or we send a tradesman. We are not a shop and we hold no stock.

What you pay

You pay what the goods cost us on the day, plus our delivery and service charge. We do not mark goods up. Because rates in a market move, the figure shown while you are building your slip is an estimate, not a price we have set. The final total is what the shopkeeper actually charged, and you see it before you settle.

If the real cost comes in under the estimate, the difference goes to your wallet and comes off your next order. It is your money, not a credit note.

For a service — a plumber, an electrician — no price can be known until the tradesman has looked. What the app records is the request; the charge is agreed between you and him.

Payment

Cash at the door, unless we agree otherwise. The app takes no card details.

Cancelling

Cancel freely until we have started sourcing. After that, anything already bought for you has to be paid for — a shopkeeper will not take back the atta he has weighed out.

Things that go wrong

If something arrives wrong, short, or spoiled, tell us the same day and we will replace it or take it off the bill. That is the extent of what we owe: we are responsible for delivering what you asked for, not for what happens after it is in your kitchen, and not for a manufacturer product.

A tradesman booked through the app does his own work under his own responsibility. We introduce him and keep the record; we do not guarantee his workmanship.

Your account

Your mobile number is your account. Keep it to yourself — anybody with access to your phone can place an order as you. Tell us at once if the number changes hands.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time — here is how. We can close an account used to abuse our team, place false orders, or avoid paying.
