Delete your account

You can close your At Your Doorsteps account yourself, at any time, without asking anybody.

In the app

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Go to Account.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm when it asks.

It happens immediately. You are signed out, and signing in with that number afterwards creates a new, empty account.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, write to muzaffar.tirmizi@gmail.com naming the mobile number you signed up with. Deletion is done within seven days.

What is deleted

• Your name, mobile number and second number
• Your profile photo
• Any prescription photos you sent with a medicine order
• Your saved addresses, including any map pin
• Your cart, your saved items and your chosen brands
• Any service request you raised
• Your name and address as copied onto past orders

What is kept, and why

The order records themselves remain, with nothing on them identifying you — they read as a deleted account. An order is a transaction: goods were bought from a shopkeeper and money changed hands, and the business needs its own record of what it bought and what it charged.

If something is unfinished

Deletion is refused, with the reason shown, while an order is still on its way — somebody is carrying it. Let it arrive or cancel it first. A wallet balance is forfeited on deletion, so spend it first if you want it.
